I grew up in Wheaton, Illinois and moved to Dallas, TX with my husband thirteen years ago. My family has many creative and artistic talents, therefore, creative is what I love to be. Having been surrounded by books full of house plans in our home growing up, I would thumb through them and loved imagining what they would look like to walk through. After dabbling with architecture and interior design I ended up graduating from the International Academy of Design and Technology in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. I found after learning of all the various fields of interior design in school and having worked in retail, as a store planner, and in the residential furniture industry that I fell in love with kitchen design. After working at a small kitchen and bath design firm as a designer for nine years, I've decided to go for my dream and take on the kitchen design world on my own!
I love the challenge of designing a space that best reflects you, yet is functional just as much as it is aesthetically pleasing. Reflecting on times growing up and how trying and stressful undergoing family remodeling projects at home could be, I am here to help you alleviate the stress and deliver you the perfect kitchen design that you will love creating memories in for years to come.
I have big dreams for Nicole Anthony Designs! I love to travel, and having traveled to the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, that glimpse into a few other parts of the world is tugging at my heart strings to travel and revisit these places and so so many new ones. I'm excited to see how other parts of the world make the heart of their house home and what delicious dishes they create within it. Nothing would make me happier than to bottle up all of these travels, discoveries and experiences and share them with you in hopes of bringing a little piece of the world to the heart of your homes whether it's reflected in its design or the dish you serve for dinner tonight.
Meet my side-kick, my fur baby, my partner in crime, Cuddles! Everyone that knows me, knows I love dogs! They have always been a part of my life. My husband and I saved Cuddles just in a nick of time from the Lancaster, TX animal shelter thirteen years ago. She loves to get out and be active and is full of smiles. She reminds me to love life and live it to the fullest. Live is short and time is finite.
My Cuddles is one of the lucky ones. She is part of our family, our pack and she knows what it is to be loved. There are so many that never will and that breaks my heart. If I could, I would save all of the dogs and not another heart would stop beating from being euthanized. So, my mission is to help saves as many dogs as I can through my company. Your kitchen remodel may save the life of a fury friend in desperate need. Therefore, a percentage of every project is donated to help a dog near you. I'm using my talents and skills designing to make a difference. My passion may be their saving grace.
